A leaked video shows the alleged launch of Nvidia's upcoming GeForce RTX 5090 in the factory.
The video footage shows a large number of production line debugging systems on the left, one of which successfully started the Windows system. Upon seeing this scene, the workers cheered with joy, as it could be one of the first launches of the RTX 5090. It seems that the RTX 5090 has completed the validation phase and is about to enter mass production.
The US sanctions may affect the sales of RTX 5090 to China, as GPUs with processing capabilities exceeding RTX 4090D have been banned from export. According to reports, in order to minimize losses, Sotai has established a factory in Batam Island, Indonesia to maintain smooth supply lines.
From the current situation, it appears that the RTX 5090 uses a single power connector, dispelling rumors about the need for dual 16 pin connectors. The RTX 5090 cooler is slightly larger than the RTX 4090, but the difference is not significant. The rumored RTX 5090 may belong to the ZoTAC GAMING series, featuring a three fan layout and possibly a 3 or 4 slot design.
According to recent rumors, the NVIDIA RTX 5090 will be driven by the GB202 chip and will carry over 20000 CUDA cores and 32GB GDDR7 memory through a 512 bit memory interface. It is expected that Nvidia will release the GeForce RTX 50 (Blackwell) series at CES 2025 in January next year.
